On (December 12, 2013) The Christian Children's Fund of Canada Facebook competition named Monty the bear CCFC Ambassador for Nicaragua: mascot part of global child protection effort

 

Out of 164 total votes and 18 shares, Monty received 32 votes and 12 shares, the most amongst the 22 shortlisted.  The bears will be shipped to CCFC’s Nicaragua office with the financial support of two donors and will reside in the communities of La Comuna and Oscar Gámez, Nicaragua.
