What do you love most about Fall???

I love fall because it is a time when leaves change color and the air is crisp, clean and much cooler. Animals are preparing for approaching winter snows. Life around me is in constant transition. Life seems to slow down during fall. The crunch of the dry leaves under my feet and the occasional sound of migrating birds is the only interruption of the silence in the woods, here. Trees, too, are dormant, having shed their technicolor dream-coats, awaiting the new spring to begin another season of birth and regrowth. The holidays Thanksgiving and Halloween warm my heart. Thanksgiving is a time when families gather together and give thanks for their blessings. Again, it is a time for families to gather together and to celebrate the abundant crops. It is a time for bonfires, dancing under a harvest moon and sharing hope for a prosperous Spring.. Hot mulled apple cider warms the soul. The first frost sparkles in the sunlight shining through the window panes, each one a unique piece of cut crystal canvas. These are only a few of the reasons I Love Autumn/Fall.
