A NOTE TO BUZZAGENT.COM. . . Do you really want an HONEST opinion? posted on the BuzzAgent FB 10/30/13

I posted this and got BLOCKED from the BuzzAgent FB Page !! So much for HONESTY!!!

 To BuzzAgent.com:
Are you REALLY interested in HONEST Observations recorded during a product evaluation or are you simply looking for a mainstream response that has only one purpose, sell the product.? I THOUGHT when I originally signed up that I would be trying out the assigned product/service and then submitting an honest evaluation of the product quality as it relates to its cost,ie: Is it worth the expense of time and/or money. From what I have experienced and read from reviews in other campaigns this is NOT the case! My review in the ONE campaign in which I was permitted to participate was HONEST and I will admit, NOT flattering in any way to the product. In my HONEST opinion the product STINKS to high HEAVEN. My actual recorded review is a little more diplomatic BUT it is an HONEST one. If you want a product reviewed for sustainable sales then that kind of review is more valuable to BuzzAgent than the "Yes Man" type that seems to prevail throughout your campaigns. I have NO FAITH in reviews that are GUSHY. You have far too many to be credible. Just what I and several others that I have talked to about BuzzAgent think, well, now you know!

Report: Obamacare provision will allow 'forced' home inspections by gov't agents

Citing the Heath and Human Services website, a report posted Wednesday at the Freedom Outpost says that under Obamacare, government agents can engage in "home health visits" for those in certain “high-risk” categories.
Those categories include:
• Families where mom is not yet 21;
• Families where someone is a tobacco user;
• Families where children have low student achievement, developmental delays, or disabilities, and
• Families with individuals who are serving or formerly served in the armed forces, including such families that have members of the armed forces who have had multiple deployments outside the United States.

According to HHS, the visits fall under what is called the "Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program" allegedly designed to “help parents and children,” and could impact millions of Americans.
Constitutional attorney and author Kent Masterson Brown said that despite what HHS says, the program is not “voluntary."
"The eligible entity receiving the grant for performing the home visits is to identify the individuals to be visited and intervene so as to meet the improvement benchmarks," he said. "A homeschooling family, for instance, may be subject to 'intervention' in 'school readiness' and 'social-emotional developmental indicators.' A farm family may be subject to 'intervention' in order to 'prevent child injuries.' The sky is the limit."
Joshua Cook said that while the administration would claim the program only applies to those on Medicaid, the new law, by its own definition, has no such limitation.
"Intervention," he added, quoting Brown, "may be with any family for any reason. It may also result in the child or children being required to go to certain schools or taking certain medications and vaccines and even having more limited – or no – interaction with parents. The federal government will now set the standards for raising children and will enforce them by home visits.”
According to Cook, the program will require collection of a massive amount of private information including all sources of income and the amount gathered from each source.
One of the areas of emphasis mentioned by HHS is the "development of comprehensive early childhood systems that span the prenatal-through-age-eight continuum."
Last session, Cook added, South Carolina State Rep. Bill Chumley introduced a measure that would make the forced home visitations illegal in his state. The measure passed in the House but died in the Senate.
In 2011, he noted, HHS said $224 million would be allocated to support these home visiting programs.

And a youth said, "Speak to us of Friendship."

Your friend is your needs answered. He is your field which you sow with love and reap with thanksgiving. And he is your board and your fireside. For you come to him with your hunger, and you seek him for peace. When your friend speaks his mind you fear not the "nay" in your own mind, nor do you withhold the "ay." And when he is silent your heart ceases not to listen to his heart; For without words, in friendship, all thoughts, all desires, all expectations are born and shared, with joy that is unacclaimed. When you part from your friend, you grieve not; For that which you love most in him may be clearer in his absence, as the mountain to the climber is clearer from the plain. And let there be no purpose in friendship save the deepening of the spirit. For love that seeks aught but the disclosure of its own mystery is not love but a net cast forth: and only the unprofitable is caught. And let your best be for your friend. If he must know the ebb of your tide, let him know its flood also. For what is your friend that you should seek him with hours to kill? Seek him always with hours to live. For it is his to fill your need, but not your emptiness. And in the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed. - Kahil Gibran

"Mindfulness is the quality and power of mind that is aware of what's happening — without judgment and without interference. It is like a mirror that simply reflects whatever comes before it. It serves us in the humblest ways, keeping us connected to brushing our teeth or having a cup of tea. It keeps us connected to the people around us, so that we're not simply rushing by them in the busyness of our lives.

We can start the practice of mindfulness meditation with the simple observation and feeling of each breath. Breathing in, we know we're breathing in; breathing out, we know we're breathing out. It's very simple, although not easy. After just a few breaths, we hop on trains of association, getting lost in plans, memories, judgments and fantasies.

This habit of wandering mind is very strong, even though our reveries are often not pleasant and sometimes not even true. As Mark Twain so aptly put it, "Some of the worst things in my life never happened." So we need to train our minds, coming back again and again to the breath, simply beginning again.

Slowly, though, our minds steady and we begin to experience some space of inner calm and peace. This environment of inner stillness makes possible a deeper investigation of our thoughts and emotions. What is a thought— that strange, ephemeral phenomenon that can so dominate our lives? When we look directly at a thought, we see that it is little more than nothing. Yet when it is unnoticed, it wields tremendous power.

Notice the difference between being lost in a thought and being mindful that we're thinking. Becoming aware of the thought is like waking up from a dream or coming out of a movie theater after being absorbed in the story. Through mindfulness, we gradually awaken from the movies of our minds."

Heart Breaking but True !!!

I Will Not Need Any Glow in The Dark Paint for Halloween . . .2014???

In Regard to the Nuclear Meltdown at Fukushima Daiichi Plant:

Arnie Gundersen a U.S. nuclear engineer veteran has a lot to say about what we all have to live through during 2014:

“They are going to have difficulty in removing a significant number of the rods. There is a risk of an inadvertent criticality if the bundles are distorted and get too close to each other. The problem with a fuel pool criticality is that you cannot stop it. There are no control rods to control it. The spent fuel pool cooling system is designed only to remove decay heat, not heat from an ongoing nuclear reaction…

The rods are also vulnerable to fire should they be exposed to air...

I think TEPCO are belittling the complexity of the task...

If you think of a nuclear fuel rack as a pack of cigarettes, if you pull a cigarette straight up it will come out — but these racks have been distorted. Now when they go to pull the cigarette straight out, it’s going to likely break and release radioactive cesium and other gases, xenon and krypton, into the air…

I suspect come November, December, January we’re going to hear that the building’s been evacuated, they’ve broke a fuel rod, the fuel rod is off-gassing.”

We Are Going RADIOACTIVE Folks!!!!

SUNDAY@8AM: "We are a fortnight away from what could be the most dangerous and violent moment humanity has ever faced and no one is watching. Very few have reported on what is about to happen, starting in November. The operation to remove 400,000 kg of highly irradiated spent fuel rods beneath the Fukushima plant’s damaged Reactor No. 4, could set off a catastrophe greater than any we have ever seen, numerous independent experts warn. An operation of this scale, says plant operator Tokyo Electric Power Company, has never been attempted before, and is wrought with danger. Many in the know have left Japan with their families this month ahead of this extremely painstaking, risky and razor's edge major project."

National Feral Cat Day® 2013 Brought Milestones, Proclamations, and Awards!
Dear Monica,
This Wednesday was amazing. I’m so impressed by the numbers alone:
  • More than 430 individuals and groups held events in honor of the 13th annual National Feral Cat Day®.
  • Events were held in all 50 states, as well as internationally in Panama, Mexico, Israel, and Canada.
  • Eighty people attended our special Helping Cats in Your Community Webinar.
  • Four counties issued proclamations recognizing the day.
  • Countless cat lovers wrote about National Feral Cat Day® on social media.
  • We had letters to the editor and articles in newspapers across the country.
  • We presented the “Architects of Change for Cats” award to the City of Harrington, Del., for implementing a community-wide Trap-Neuter-Return program.
But National Feral Cat Day® is about more than these record numbers. I’m also blown away by how strong the movement has grown. It’s so clear that Americans want humane policies for cats—and they’re willing to take the initiative to make change happen in their own communities.
Every day, I’m inspired by the individuals and groups that advocate and care for cats. I think you’ll be inspired too when you read some of the Facebook posts and tweets that people wrote about what National Feral Cat Day® means to them.
Keep an eye out for an email from us with more details and photos from National Feral Cat Day® events in cities nationwide.
Thank you so much for everything you did for cats this National Feral Cat Day®!
Sincerely,
Becky Signature

NSA has got me BUGGED !!!!

The NSA video is up! Click here to watch it!  http://theNSAvideo.com/
Fight for the Future members (you!) funded this video to explain the stakes of NSA spying to people around the world. Now’s the moment to make it count. Please, share this video as widely as you can today. Forward this email, and share it everywhere.

Yesterday’s outdoor launch in NYC was amazing.  We brought movie popcorn and handed it out as people gathered.  (I handed popcorn to some tiny fraction of FFTF’s supporters last night. You know who you are...  Hi! :)
By 9pm there were already tons of people there, and the numbers kept growing.
When it was time to leave the park for the screening spot, there were almost too many people! The crowd just kept coming and coming, blocking traffic (oops!) and packing the street corner. Check out photos and video from the launch here.
One impression was just impossible to avoid: tons of people care about this issue, perhaps more than any issue we’ve ever worked on.  If we can reach them all and build a movement, I have no doubt we can take apart the NSA’s mass spying operation piece by piece.
This video is the next step on that path. Please, do whatever you can to get it seen.

Then, join us and the rest of the Stopwatching.us coalition in Washington DC on Saturday, October 26 to rally against mass spying. There are buses leaving from several major cities. Learn more here: https://rally.stopwatching.us
Thanks for all you do!
Sincerely,
Holmes Wilson, Evan Greer, Tiffiniy Cheng, and the whole Fight for the Future team.
P.S. Got a minute?  Do you speak another language?  Help us subtitle the video!  http://www.amara.org/en/videos/wlISF54mlV2J/info/how-the-government-tracks-you-nsa-surveillance/

P.P.S. Thanks so much to filmmaker Kartina Richardson and especially to actress Evangeline Lilly for their great work on this video. It feels awesome to have a star of traditional mass media fighting alongside us to defend the open mass medium of the future.

Hunters spark outrage by killing white ‘spirit moose’ Rare albino animal was considered sacred by the indigenous Mi'kmaq people; hunters have apologized and hide will be used during a ceremony to 'honor the Spirit of the Spirit Moose'

spiritmoose
The moose was killed near Belle Cote, Nova Scotia
Danny Paul, a Mi’kmaq hunter, told CBC that aboriginal people have known about the spirit moose for years.
“We know the significance and we’ve been teaching that to the non-native population for almost 500 years—about the importance that this and other white animals played in our lives,” he said. “We are not to harm them in any way, shape, or form because they could be one of our ancestors coming to remind us of something significant that’s going to happen within our communities.
“It was so disrespectful having seen it put on the social media, and it’s been an outcry and our people are outraged.”
These hunters knew and for trophy purposes, shot and killed this sacred white animal, deliberately. Saying they are sorry and claiming ignorance is typical behavior. I would much prefer that these hunters at least be honest about their actions. Yes, I am they are certain that they are "SORRY" now! After being
'reamed' on the FaceBook, who wouldn't be 'sorry'. Nothing like being Inflagrante dilicto !

Wrong Question

Wrong-Question
John and Mike are talking before religious service. John wonders whether it would be all right to smoke while praying.
Mike replies, “Why don’t you ask the Priest?”
So John goes up to the Priest and asks, “Father, may I smoke while I pray?”
The Priest replies, “No, my son, you may not! That’s utter disrespect to our religion.”
John goes back to his friend and tells him what the good Priest told him.
Mike says, “I’m not surprised. You asked the wrong question. Let me try.” And so Mike goes up to the Priest and asks, “Father, may I pray while I smoke?”
To which the Priest eagerly replies, “By all means, my son. By all means. You can always pray whenever you want to.”

Cat vs Dragonfly

Dying wish

Two Irishmen, Murphy and Brian grew up in the same village together. They were friends all their lives, married a pair of sisters, and lived just down the street from one another. But now, Murphy had cancer, and was lying on his deathbed, surrounded by his friends.
He calls, “Brian, come here Brian. I have a request for you.”
Brian walks to his friends bedside and kneels down.
“Brian, we`ve been friends all our lives, and now I`m dying here. I have one last request for you to do.”
Brian bursts into tears, “Anything Murphy, anything you wish. It`s done.”
“Well, under me bed is a box containing a bottle of the finest whiskey in all of Ireland. Bottled the year I was born it was. After I die, and they plant me in the ground, I want you to pour that fine whiskey over me grave so it might soak into me bones and I`ll be able to enjoy it for all eternity.”
Brian was overcome by the beauty and true Irish spirit of his friend`s request.
“It is a fine thing you ask of me, and I will pour the whiskey. But, might I strain it through me kidneys first?”

Secret of Long Life!

The little boy was sitting on a park bench munching on one chocolate bar after another. After the 6th one a man on the bench across from him said, “Son, you know eating all those chocolates isn’t good for you. It will give you acne, rot your teeth, make you fat.”The boy replied, “My grandfather lived to be 107 years old.’The man asked, “Did your grandfather eat 6 chocolate bars at a time?”The little boy answered, “No, he minded his own damn business!”
